Top 5 Maps and Navigation Apps on Android in Slovakia: Q3 2022

In the third quarter of 2022, the performance of the top 5 Maps and Navigation applications on the Android platform in Slovakia exhibited diverse trends in terms of downloads and active users. Below, we provide a detailed overview of each app’s performance based on Sensor Tower data.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw weekly downloads fluctuate between 2.7K to 4.4K, with a noticeable peak of 4.4K in mid-August. The app’s active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around 44K-48K throughout the quarter.

Mapy.cz: maps & navigation experienced a decline in weekly downloads from a high of 3.4K in late July to 1.4K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from approximately 9K in early July to 7.8K by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic had a steady decrease in weekly downloads from 3.2K in early August to just over 1.3K by the end of September. Despite this, the app maintained an active user base around 34K-36K, with a slight dip towards the end of the quarter.

Cestovné poriadky CP showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 3.2K in early September. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 35.5K in late August before dropping to around 29.5K by the end of September. The app also generated modest weekly revenues, ranging from $1 to $7.

Shell experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads from over 3K in early July to around 842 by the end of September. Active users also decreased from 17.5K in mid-July to approximately 14K by the end of the quarter.
